 Church Announcements

1) With the approval and blessings of H.H. Pope Shenouda, we announce the establishment of Chicago’s first Coptic Orthodox Mission Church, and we invite you To celebrate the Holy Eucharist with us in honor Of this occasion. The Inaugural Liturgy for St. Paul Coptic Orthodox Mission Church Of Chicago will be celebrated by H.G. Bishop David along With our beloved fathers the clergy of Chicago’s Coptic Churches and Fr. Pishoy Salama, Fr. Anthony Messeh and Fr. Daniel Hanna from the Canadian and US Missionary Churches at 9am on Saturday, January 28th at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 601 S. Central Ave, Chicago. 2) The Midwest Winter Retreat for College, Graduates, and Young Professionals is February 10-12 at The Abbey Resort in Fontana, WI with H.G. Bishop Angaelos.  Registration ends this Sunday, January 29th.  There is NO late registration.  Please visit www.midwestwinterretreat.com for more information and registration.

3) The High School Winter Retreat for 8th grade through 12th grade is February 10-12 at Dickson Valley Camp and Retreat Center in Newark, IL with Fr. 4) There is an Arabic Bible Study on Fridays at 7:30pm at church.

6) In an effort to increase our spiritual growth and community, we have created a new email account that will accept prayer needs and/or requests. Once email is received, the prayer request will be placed on the Altar during the next service. Please send your requests to prayers.  If you have any questions or ideas please email us at announcements. All emails are kept confidential by the church clergy.

7) If you have an announcement to make, there is a NEW DEADLINE in order to accommodate the printing of the new Sunday morning pamphlet.  Announcements are now due by Friday at Noon if you want your announcement included in the pamphlet, announced at church, and published to the website for that Sunday.  Please email announcements.

8) If you (or someone you know) are not receiving the weekly church emails please send your (their) email address to announcements.
